Hill Country 56’ers
Club Meeting Minutes
November 20, 2011
The Hill Country 56’ers club meeting was held on November 20, 2011 at the United Christian
Church.
President Joyce Patschke opened the meeting and presented a slate of officers and also asked for
nominations or volunteers from the floor, after a discussion Randy made a motion to elect the slate
as presented and the motion carried. The following are officers elected for 2012.
President Linda Cook
Vice Presidents Kelly Broadway & Kirk Wyllie
Treasurer Cindy Grimm
Recording Secretary Monika Knesek
Corresponding Secretary Randy Cook
NCC Representative Jackie Pool
Membership Coordinators Janice Kasperski and Sheryl Jones
The Christmas Tour will be Saturday, December 31, 2011, and would be either a progressive
dinner with people bringing food or catered with the people paying $5.00. We still need one house
for the tour.
The members either brought door prizes or paid $5.00 to be in on the draw. The drawing was held
and door prizes were given out.
The 50/50 drawing was won by Freda Anderson.
The meeting adjourned and everyone enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast.
The next meeting will be in February 2012.

Hill Country 56’ers
Club Meeting Minutes
June 26, 2011
The Hill Country 56’ers club meeting was held at the United Christian Church.
President Joyce Patschke opened the meeting, welcomed all present.
Treasurer, Linda Cook, stated that we had $1,497.81 in the bank. She had gotten the service
charges reversed and made sure that we are not charged again.
Joyce stated that a member of the club, Elaine Dykstra had passed away. Harold and Bill brought
in a copy of the obituary. Joyce will send a card to the family.
NCC Representative, Janice Kasperski, reported that one of the Texas Clubs was making a quilt to
be presented to Melinda Seegers as an appreciation for what she does. They were asking for a
$25.00 donation to help defray cost of materials. Janice made a motion to donate the money,
Jackie second the motion. After discussion and vote the motion carried. It was time to elect new
Officers for NCC. Since there was only one candidate for each position and per the NCC by-laws
they dispensed with the ballot and declared the candidates for the positions dulyelected. The new
officers are:
President-Mike Goode from Texas
Vice President-Kirk Wyllie from Illinois
Secretary-Sue Chretien from Arizona
Treasurer-Tom Iacoviello from MN
Pins and shirts may be ordered from the NCC website.
Joyce turned the meeting over to Jackie for the program. Everyone attending the meeting was
asked to bring a pound of something they use in their display. They were asked to wrap it as a gift
and have everyone guess what it was after a few clues. They were asked to show it and show or
tell how they use it in their display.
Door prizes were handed out.
The 50/50 drawing was won by Kelly Broadway.
Meeting adjourned and everyone enjoyed the pot luck.
Next Club meeting will be August 21, 2011.
